1379 Blair avenue Kitchen Remodel
The kitchen in this 1920s Craftsman home in Saint Paul was dark, cluttered, and cramped. Our clients envisioned a brighter, airier space that would make everyday cooking and gathering easier while honoring the home’s architectural character.
We opened a wall to the rear addition, creating room for a small peninsula that adds countertop space and a place to gather. We also preserved the original Craftsman buffet, opening it up to connect the kitchen and dining room and allow more natural light to flow between the spaces.
Custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, and handcrafted tile bring warmth and texture to the kitchen, while a stunning copper range hood provides a distinctive focal point. The result is a welcoming, functional space that feels at home within its historic surroundings.
