When the homeowners invited us over to see their kitchen, we found dark cabinets, a dated countertop, poor lighting and an awkward layout. Taking down the wall between the kitchen and dining room opened up the space and installing new windows with lots of glass let the natural light in. White cabinets and countertops give the kitchen a crisp and breezy look, while bold teal backsplash tile, bronze detail and custom artwork behind the range add pops of color and personality.
