OUR WORK

KITCHEN Renovation

1ST AVE SOUTH – MINNEAPOLIS

The homeowners were happy with the layout of the kitchen in their south Minneapolis bungalow, but they wanted to replace the golden oak cabinets, dark backsplash and dated countertop with something fresh and modern. We updated the space with cool blue base cabinets and gorgeous walnut uppers, complimented by a large format terrazzo tile backsplash with specks of golds and blues and an understated honed stone countertop. The floors were refinished to a softer, more natural finish and modern, playful hardware was installed to complete the look.

KITCHEN Renovation

1ST AVE SOUTH – MINNEAPOLIS

This busy family wanted an updated kitchen to be the heart of their home. We closed a doorway to the kitchen to recover wall space for more cabinets, then removed a wall, opening the kitchen up to the dining room and living room and bringing much-needed natural light into the space. New oak floors, crisp, white cabinets and gorgeous blue glass backsplash tile are a beautiful compliment to the warm original woodwork throughout the home.

KITCHEN Renovation

MAPLE PARK DR – MENDOTA HEIGHTS

The owners envisioned a light and airy, open kitchen with clean lines and natural wood, inspired by Scandinavian design. We took down walls, enlarged a window, laid new oak flooring to match the living room and then refinished the floors in a near-matte sheen. Euro-style flat panel cabinets, an elegant quartz countertop with subtle veining and open open shelving along the back wall add a clean, modern finish.

BATHROOM Renovation

31st Ave – Longfellow

We made use of every inch of space in this turn of the century bathroom in the Longfellow neighborhood of Minneapolis, installing a floating vanity, reclaiming unused space behind a wall for custom built-in cabinets, and installing a pocket door. Bold emerald tile and gold accent colors pop against a clean and natural palette of crisp white and warm wood tones with black accessories.

KITCHEN Renovation

Idaho Ave – Falcon Heights

Our longtime architect friend and his wife needed to update the kitchen in their 1940 Falcon Heights home. We took down a wall to open up the space, feathered in new oak floors to match the original ones, and created a two-level peninsula to add both countertop space and seating.

KITCHEN Renovation

LExington parkway – saint paul

These new homeowners reached out for help making their tiny kitchen more functional and fun. The original space lacked flow and order. The room was cramped. A free-standing, oversized refrigerator stood against a wall, in the way of everything. There was no dishwasher, and definitely no character.

KITCHEN Renovation

Noble Circle – Brooklyn Park

Our clients already had an open concept kitchen in their 2007 home, but they were tired of the dated cabinets, lack of countertop space, dark colors, poor lighting and yellow oak everywhere. They envisioned a warm, modern main level with a luminous, spacious kitchen that would serve as the heart of their home and the family gathering space at the end of the day.

KITCHEN Renovation

12th Ave – Minneapolis

The homeowners asked us to replace their dark and crowded kitchen with something light-filled and airy. We installed new windows with lots of glass to let the natural light in. White cabinets and countertops give the kitchen a crisp and breezy look, while bold backsplash tile, bronze detail and custom artwork behind the range add pops of color and personality.

KITCHEN Renovation

4th Ave – Minneapolis

Our latest kitchen renovation was full of surprises and creative opportunity, completely transforming the look and functionality of this South Minneapolis Craftsman. When we took down the wall to open the kitchen up to the dining room, the brick chimney and copper pipe were too pretty to cover back up. A deep copper sink, custom wood wine racks to complement the existing natural woodwork, dramatic glass backsplash tile and bright new stainless appliances complete the mixed material theme.

BATHROOM Renovation

Wellesley AVE – Saint Paul

The owner’s suite bathroom in this Saint Paul home needed a refresh. A spacious walk-in shower replaced the old tub and soffit. Heated marble mosaic floor, subway tile, and new fixtures render the small space bright and clean, while a space-saving pocket door and towel warmer add a European touch, courtesy of Stefano.

Basement Renovation

Laurel Ave – Saint Paul

This growing family needed more room to spread out in their 1910 Saint Paul home, so we helped them refinish their lower level, adding a spacious family room with a dry bar and beverage refrigerator, a three-quarter bathroom and a beautiful laundry.  The original stairs were refinished in oak, with coordinating luxury vinyl flooring throughout to withstand the wear and tear of kids and pets. Light greige paint and earth-hued tiles on the walls render the space warm and bright.

Kitchen Renovation

Bayard Ave – Saint Paul

To bring beauty and functionality to the kitchen in this classic 1920s home, the space was gutted and rebuilt. New hardwood flooring was installed and stained to match the rest of the home. A window and radiator were replaced to acquire more space. New cabinets, countertop, backsplash tile, appliances and a custom coffee nook with floating shelves completed the room.

Kitchen & Dining Room Renovation

100th Ave – Maple Grove

The kitchen and dining areas were completely transformed in this suburban home remodel. Walls came down and the ceiling was vaulted. We added new lighting, laid new floors, built a center island, and installed new cabinets, countertop, backsplash and appliances. No surface was left untouched in creating a beautiful, timeless kitchen.

Kitchen Renovation

27th Ave – Minneapolis

This kitchen remodel involved taking down two partial walls to open up the kitchen, dining room and living room.  A new kitchen was installed, floors were refinished, lighting was updated and the rooms were painted a warm white, transforming the main floor into a sophisticated, open living space.

Home Renovation

55th St – Minneapolis

This 1950s rambler received a major facelift, with no room left untouched. The highlight of this home is the wide open main level with patio doors off of the living room that lead to a cedar deck –  indoor-outdoor living at its best.

Home Renovation

52nd St – Minneapolis

This city bungalow lacked functionality with its small rooms and poor use of space. Opening the kitchen, enlarging the main floor bathroom and finishing the lower level turned it into the perfect urban retreat.
